As part of our Nauvoo trip, we visited Carthage Jail, the site where Joseph and Hyrum Smith were martyred. As you can see from the pictures, the bullet hole is still in the door to the room where the men were being kept. The window to the left of the bed is the one from which Joseph fell.

Isn't Nauvoo fantastic? I love it there! Jared and I have these same pictures from our trip two years ago! :)
